IMHO there is no support for it in SAP (I might be wrong....)

There is however command line utilities that can be used using external commands.

Using http://www.imagemagick.org/download/binaries/ImageMagick-6.9.3-7-portable-Q16-x86.zip from http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php

Command:

convert Arctic_big.svg Arctic_big.png

Got me Arctic_big.png (Attach File)
